Paris (15-18 years): The program offers an ideal mix of French lessons and French culture, including exposure to cuisine, history and art as well as fashion and cinema. Depending on how intensive you want to make your studies, you can choose from 15 or 20 lessons per week with all options offering sports and cultural activities as well as full and half-day excursions to a variety of places of interest such as Versailles, the Loire Valley and Fontainebleau Castle. Biarritz (13-18 years): The program takes place at a self-contained campus in Cote Basque only minutes from the town centers of Biarritz and Anglet. It offers an ideal mix of French lessons and French culture, including exposure to cuisine, history and art as well as fashion and cinema. It also offers the unique opportunity to meet and make friends with students from all over Europe, Latin America and Asia, making this a very popular program for North American students who are looking for a truly international experience. Biarritz's beach setting allows you to try optional water sports including sea kayaking and surfing! You can choose from 15 or 20 lessons per week with all options offering sports and cultural activities as well as full and half-day excursions to a variety of places of interest such as San Sebastien, Arcachon and Dune du Pila. Cannes (13-17 years): The aim of the Cannes Residential program for teens is to spark your interest in learning French and to deepen any prior knowledge you may already have. To achieve this goal, the atmosphere at the course centre and in the classroom is youthful and dynamic, with subjects and teaching methods that are age-appropriate and truly motivating. Particular emphasis is put on developing communication fluency and self-confidence. The various areas of language study, such as reading, writing, speaking and listening are all covered and grammar is studied in such a way that you learn without feeling that you are studying in a formal manner. You may also choose to further your experience in Cannes with a choice between two optional courses, either one-on-one private lessons, or conversational lessons. Private lessons comprise of an additional 5 lessons per week, totaling 60 hours. The lessons are based on your individual needs and goals. With the aid of a detailed questionnaire completed at the start of the course, instructors will modify the lessons to address your specific needs with the French language. Conversational courses give students the opportunity to express themselves in a more fluent and confident natural manner within everyday situations. This course consists of two 45 minute lessons per week.
