Camp Colman, what place could be better for new friendships and adventure?  All of the tree-house-style cabins are perched along a wooded ridge and have fireplaces, bunk beds, complete bathrooms and private sun decks with a view of our lagoon.  We also have a Yurt and a tent platform area for older campers.  Our octagonal shelter provides the perfect program area in case of damp Washington days.  Anderson Lodge is a beautiful eight-sided dining hall and multi-use facility with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view of our saltwater lagoon and Puget Sound.  The antique iron triangle rings outside the Lodge rustling up all the campers to a hot breakfast.  During the camp day, our energetic leaders accompany each cabin group on all of their adventures.  Leaders are college students or graduates and often have progressed through the camp's leadership program.  Their goal is for all campers to sample as many of the exciting programs as possible.  The personal staff attention allows all campers individual recognition.  A highly trained teen leader who receives intense staff training assists each cabin leader.  Traditional camp skits, songs, storytelling and comedy acts highlight our twilight campfire each night.  The day ends with campers and staff singing a closing song with their newfound friends and a song that has been sung every summer since 1912.
